KEYTHORPE HALL

Your private hideaway - Everything but a hotel

Keythorpe Hall is a secluded Georgian house nestled in the heart of the unspoilt English countryside, offering exclusive use hire for up to 20 guests. This private and discreet estate, with its surrounding gardens and grounds, is located in an undiscovered rural oasis, with a wealth of historical and cultural highlights on its doorstep. It provides the perfect setting for spending time with loved ones and friends or connecting with colleagues, whether for multi-generational family holidays, intimate events and grand celebrations, or corporate retreats.

Every season is celebrated at Keythorpe Hall, with our in-house chef creating meals from ingredients sourced directly from the estate's walled garden, neighbouring farms, and artisan food suppliers. Guests can enjoy spacious living, dining, and entertainment areas, both inside the house and throughout the gardens.

Hospitality is at the forefront of every stay with us. The house comes fully staffed, with our team always available throughout the day to offer personalised service, allowing you to relax and truly feel at home. We are committed to curating unforgettable experiences and creating memories that will last a lifetime.

THE HOUSE

The house was built for entertaining by Hon. Henry William Wilson, 11th Lord Berners, a founding member and former president of the Royal Agricultural Society. Building commenced in the Georgian style in the late 1700s and was completed in 1843.
It is positioned overlooking a deep valley with views over the old estate and beyond.

There are wonderfully proportioned formal rooms, all with floor to ceiling windows to maximise light and the sweeping views over the undulating hills. The walls are decorated with a combination of ancestral portraits and modern art and the interiors were the result of a five-year restoration project by Giles and Barbara, the current owners.
